Artist studios occupy the 1926 Power House, 1927 Pyrometer House, 1927 Bathhouse and 1950s Storage Building. One of two 20,000-sq.-ft. casting sheds, where millions of tons of iron once were cast, has been developed as the foundry and fabrication shop.

The foundry has four coke-fired cupolas for casting iron, the largest of which casts up to 2000 pounds an hour. There are two gas furnaces for melting bronze and aluminum, wax and ceramic shell studios with a cart kiln and burnout kiln, and a forklift and lifting equipment to handle up to three tons. The foundry offers a variety of moldmaking processes and equipment, including bonded sand and ceramic shell.

For metalworking there is cutting and welding equipment—oxyacetylene, stick, tig, and mig—as well as forges, drill press, lathe, sandblaster, and assorted power hand tools.

Supplies include a wide variety of consumables, such as grinding discs, glue, gloves, dust masks, lumber, plaster, alcohol, etc.
